We strive to create delicious alternatives to nostalgic favorites that are better for our health, the planet, and producers.The UNREAL Snacks Boston team will be partnering with Spoonfuls, a non-profit organization whose mission is to keep good food from going to waste. They will learn about their food recovery operation through a ride-along, create snack bags for beneficiaries of an array of other local nonprofits that Spoonfuls delivers to, and participate in a food waste 101 session with an emphasis on learning about Spoonfuls’ strategy to combat food waste and food insecurity across the state of Massachusetts.The UNREAL Snacks New York team will help package and distribute free packages of groceries to low income families and individuals at the NY Common Pantry in East Harlem. We employ the latest viticulture techniques as well as sustainable farming to grow high quality Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Our wine production is led by the La Cienega’s Ladies Round Table.
La Cienega Vineyard is volunteering at the Giving Farm, a farm-to-food bank program that works to promote student and community engagement in the California agricultural industry. Volunteers will spend the day picking fruits and vegetables and helping with other farming tasks. All produce goes to the food bank with Community Action Partnership.
