  The Saffron Road team is partnering with Filling in the Blanks, a local nonprofit based in Norwalk, CT. Filling in the Blanks was founded in Stamford, CT after local high school students asked their football coach for food, and it has since grown into a critical community resource. The organization provides weekend meals to children experiencing food insecurity across Connecticut and New York, serving approximately 11,000 children each week with breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. During our volunteer shift, Saffron Road will be packing these weekend meal bags.
